 Sunburn No More!

I have the palest skin in the universe.  There really cant be many paler person that me.  I am truly glowing white with a pink undertone. Often described as an English Rose - mmmm not so sure but luckily I do have good skin (you watch I will come out in the most humungous zit on my face now)

My two children appear to have fair skin but one seems to tan quite easily - although he is prepared to take his top off at the first ray of sunshine.  My other son likes to stay covered which is probably just as well as he like me seems to go from white to red to a slight hint of brown.

I saw this picture of this little lad on a beach and thought how painful and uncomfortable sunburn is.  The disturbed nights, the extra upset the child has to go through after a lovely day out and to be honest - its the parents fault.  I am guilty of my child getting a bit of sunburn when you haven't realised  you have missed a bit but I think often its the non continued application of cream that causes the issue.

Usually I hate suncream.  I hate that feeling of having the thick cloggy liquid smothered on your skin coupled with the heat ensuring a beautiful sweaty glow without effort.

I have always made sure my children wore cream and although I gave them some to take to school I am fully aware it stayed in the bag but I know I have given them the right message.

When I was given the opportunity to sample the sunsense range I was excited as I do like to try different ones to see if I will magically find the one that feels ok to put on regularly and thus result in me actually staying white or the ever hopeful chance of a little brown seeping through but the pain of sunburn would not be part of my summer.

The 125ml bottles of toddler milk and Ultra milk came in a very handy handbag suitable size of 125ml.  The flip lids allow for a controlled measure to come out rather than ending up with a whole handful you don't know what to do with.

I am so far impressed.  I have put it on my face, arms, neck, shoulders and chest and so far I am feeling it has absorbed well and feels really quite nice on my skin.  The other thing I hate about many suncreams is that the person putting them on ends up with exceedingly sticky hands.  not so with this - I would consider not having to wash my hands before eating a sandwich.

My son let me put some on him and he said it was ok (that's not bad then - take that as a recommendation)

The lip balm has gone down a treat here with everyone wanting to wear it - I think they have realised that blistered and cracked lips is not a good look for Summer.  It feels so smooth and I feel that my lips are being cared for.

The other important factor with suncreams and this one in particular is the scent. Not offensive in the slightest.  A delicate scent which does not overpower in anyway.  brilliant.

On doing a little research about suncream I really want to make sure you know and remember that you MUST keep reapplying suncream.  It does not work all day.  Once is not enough.

I will definitely be buying sunsense products from now on as its so easy to use and feels good.

So remember to put on your suncream as you don't want to have panda eyes like this poor lady.
